About Shubh Samay

Shubh Samay helps people plan everyday tasks around traditional good times, with every timing calculated for their own city: Rahu Kalam, Choghadiya, Abhijit muhurta, the day's Panchang, the best window for a task, and festival dates with puja timings.

Content reviewer

Ekkirala Venkata Sesha Raja Vijaya Sarathi is an astrologer with more than 50 years of practice in astrology. He holds an MSc in Astrology from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad. He reviews the traditional content: the god of the day, lucky colours, do and avoid notes, task guidance and the festival notes.

The calculated timings (sunrise, Rahu Kalam, Choghadiya, tithi and festival dates) come from the published method on the How it works page. Where families and regions follow different customs, the site says so rather than picking one.

How to read the timings

Shubh Samay is a guide to traditional practice, not a substitute for a personal consultation. For weddings, griha pravesh and other major ceremonies, a full muhurta that checks the lagna and the family's stars should be fixed with your purohit. For medical decisions, follow your doctor.

Corrections

If a date or timing differs from your local panchangam, please write to seo.naga@gmail.com with the city and the source you follow. Verified corrections are added with their reason.
