Privacy policy
Last updated: Tuesday, 20 October 2026. This policy covers the Shubh Samay website and app, published by Indian Digital Guru, Hyderabad.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising trackers. We do not ask for your name, phone number or birth details.
Location
If you choose "Use my location", your browser or phone shares your approximate position with the page so it can calculate local sunrise. It is rounded and used on your device. It is not sent to us.
Task text
When you type a task that the site does not recognise, the text may be sent to our server to identify the type of task. If smart task reading is switched on, that text is processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, only to return the task type. Please do not type personal details into the task box.
Browser storage
The site remembers your chosen city in your browser's local storage so you do not have to pick it again. You can clear it from your browser settings at any time.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify, which, like any web host, processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
Sponsored banners
The site may show a sponsored banner. Opening it takes you to the sponsor's website, which has its own privacy policy. If we add analytics or an advertising service in future, this page will be updated first.
Children
Shubh Samay is not directed at children under 13.
